I spend a fair bit of time in the woods with my family, and my kids are often filling my pockets with bits and pieces of nature, many of which ultimately inspire the things that I make. On a particularly chilly hike last week, I was fingering a smooth stone and wishing it wasn't so, well,
cold. The idea for these slipcovered stones was born.
They are all stones that we have collected on our adventures, each one with a hand-sewn cover of gray wool flannel with contrasting thread. I will be offering them in pairs (one light gray with red thread, one dark gray with light blue thread). Display them together or keep one and slip the other into a pocket of a friend. They will be a part of the
love notes collection added to the shop tomorrow, January 22nd at 11 am *Pacific* Standard Time.
